Figgy Cottage is a delightful and exceptionally quiet well equipped one bedroom cottage, which has just been completely refurbished and offers luxury, comfort and style.  The accommodation consists of one double bedroom,  a sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen and a shower room. The property has gas central heating for those unexpected chilly days. There is a sunny patio . The owners, designers, have had their interior work featured in magazines and newspapers and the cottage reflects this in its attention to detail and the warm comfortable  atmosphere.
The cottage is set in the gardens of the famous Tudor Close and is five minutes walk from the South Downs National Park and ten minutes walk to the beach.  Brighton, four miles away, is easily accessed by foot, car, bicycle and frequent buses.
Rottingdean, a former smuggler's village, is awash with beautiful old buildings and has a fascinating history with strong artistic and literary connections.  There is a village pond and lovely public gardens, ideal for relaxing. There is a traditional bakers, butchers and grocers supplying all your needs and even a bucket and spade shop!  In addition there are tea rooms and pubs serving delicious local food. The South Downs National Park has eighty eight miles of footpaths running through beautiful countryside and is at the end of the road.

The beach is clean and unspoilt  and there is an under cliff walk to Brighton suitable for walking or cycling.
The cosmopolitan city of Brighton has a myriad of restaurants, brilliant independent shops and a rich cultural scene. The annual May Arts festival is the biggest in England.
